The journeys that led us here.

Our journey so far

Three journeys. One growing community.

Since 2024, we’ve led travelers of all ages across Spain and the Silk Road. Those journeys became the foundation of a new focus on young Muslims, leadership development, and community empowerment. Through the Queen City Halaqa, for high schoolers in Cincinnati, and Queen City University, for young Muslims from across the world, we’re committed to offering the next generation the opportunities they deserve and the faith, friendship and confidence they’ll need to realize their potential.

November 2024

Amazing Andalus

Málaga, Córdoba, Sevilla, Granada and the Alpujarras. Our first journey through Andalusia. We built community, forged friendships, stayed in beautiful hotels and ate incredible halal food, together.

September 2025

Uzbekistan Next

Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand, along the old Silk Road. Our group came together from Botswana, Boston, the UK, the UAE, Pakistan and Germany, for fantastic food, unforgettable performances and deep conversations.

January 2026

Queen City University · Andalus

The one that changed everything. Eleven young Muslims from Harvard University, the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Maryland, the University of Cincinnati and Queen Mary University of London worshipped together, learned together and grew together. They came as strangers and left as a family.

In their words

What the first cohort took home.

Andalusia gave me a whole new level of confidence… if our history is this big, my future should be too.
Ali · First Year
Queen Mary University of London
I’ll never forget that moment, standing in the Alhambra. Queen City University gave me once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Abdallah · Junior
University of Texas at Austin
To experience Andalusia through an Islamic lens is something so unique. It opens your mind to the rich history Spain has to offer, and to carrying the same ideals of the Muslims before us and those with us now.
Ayesha · Freshman
University of Cincinnati

We’re going back this December 24 to 31, 2026.

Applications for our second annual cohort are open now.
